Social Workers In Schools (SWIS) is a service in partnership with schools to help improve health, social and education of tamariki.
SWIS, in collaboration with other services or members of the community run programmes designed for children who need help in how to play and work with others, how to be a good team player, self-confidence and to realise their strengths and potential.

To increase self-confidence and trust (in others and themselves) |
Programmes are run primarily on school grounds however to experience outdoor events, programmes include high/low ropes and confidence courses at Adventure SolutioNZ, horse riding or waka ama.
We encourage and invite parents and extended whanau to participate or support their children on these programmes.
